Seems like the “new year, new me” wave is hitting Future for 2019. In his For the Record interview with Rob Markman, the rap superstar opens up about making yet another shift in his music, which only marks the personal evolution of Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn. It’s no secret that the “Dirty Sprite” artist has thrown back a few cups of lean, keeping up with the “rapper lifestyle.”
He attests to how draining the fame can get – maintaining the persona of a womanizer and clubbing. Future, however, is onto a grander, more refined lifestyle, a lifestyle that fans will be introduced to come Friday when his 8th studio album drops. “I want to make new shit that I’m not living anymore. I want to put an end to that. So, The Wizard is me putting an end to that chapter and moving on.”
From the looks of his track list, which the new father posted on Monday, Future Hndrxx is who we’ll get! The 20-song LP will have minimal to no features and has eye-catching song titles like, “Talk Shit Like A Preacher” and “Ain’t Coming Back.” With a track record like his, does he ever disappoint?
