Nicki Minaj brings in the new year by sharing photos of her 3-month-old “Papa Bear,” for the first time since he was born in September.
Saturday, Jan. 2, the 38-year-old rapper took to Instagram to share the chubby-faced cutie.

“#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama” Minaj writes. The loving tribute included a series of photos of her son sporting designer onesies. One of the images includes a sweet snap of the 3-month-old wearing a “Papa Bear” necklace.
“Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year,” the singer writes.
“Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey. It’s meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”
Although the “Anaconda” rapper has kept most of her pregnancy and son off of social media. During an impromptu Q&A with fans, Minaj opened up about her pregnancy, labor, and daily motherhood ups and downs.

In another tweet, the rapper explains her experience with breastfeeding.
He had no problem breastfeeding. He latched on in the hospital which was very surprising to me. I was afraid maybe he wouldn’t. But breast feeding is very painful. Pumping is too. Women make this stuff look way too easy. Moms r really superheroes https://t.co/SdF9CXMdF3

Although Minaj has not revealed the name for her 3-month-old cutie, she continues to share her experience with motherhood with her fans.
