2020 has been eventful year for everyone, but definitely a year that has taught many lessons. Most of all, 2020 has tested everyone’s dedication to their careers and Nike has a message for those individuals.

Nike reflects on the final installment of the brand’s year-long You Can’t Stop Us campaign. This consisted of world-class athletes who have been training and preparing for championships throughout the pandemic.

With the 2020 Olympics being cancelled due to the pandemic this put many athletes to the test in adjusting to changes within the athletic department.

“Closed gyms and empty stadiums haven’t stopped athletes from pushing forward and using their platforms to help create change,” says Nike. “Through those actions, sport shows us what an equal playing field looks like — and reminds us that a better future is possible.”

The ‘You Can’t Stop Us‘ campaign first released in March and invited athletes to “play for the world” on board to offer their fitness tips and tricks on staying active during the pandemic. There was also a July campaign of You Can’t Stop Us featuring the infamous Serena and Venus Williams sisters.

Nike has gotten their hands on some pretty upscale ambassadors throughout the campaign including, Naomi Osaka, Marcus Rashford, Kevin Durant, Simone Manuel, Leo Baker, Caster Semenya, and Ibithaj Muhammad.

Even though the campaign has come to an end, the brand plans to continue to provide motivational content on its website at Nike.com and apps including Nike, Nike Training Club, and the Nike Running Club.
