ONE Musicfest will host a 3-hour virtual party on November 1st to celebrate its 10 years anniversary and rally our community to vote.
The digital celebration will be available to stream on Youtube, Revolt TV, and the Root. The show will not only include special guests, such as Ari Lennox, Jill Scott, and Rick Ross, but also will reveal never before seen performances, artist interviews, celebrity PSA’s, and new performances from some of the hottest artists in the nation.
“For 10 years ONE Musicfest has always figured out a way to integrate entertainment, purpose and community,” says J Carter, founder of ONE Music fest. “Although the live music industry has been totally uprooted this year, with the support and partnership of Live Nation Urban, RevoltTV, When We All Vote and HBCU Change, we plan to still hit all of our marks. With the most important election of our time fast approaching, we had to make sure to do our part.”
“Since we started Live Nation Urban a few years back, I have been stalking J Carter and the One Music Fest team to figure out how to work together,” adds Shawn Gee, president of Live Nation Urban. “Like other partnerships in our portfolio like The Roots Picnic and Broccoli City, One Music Fest is a slice of culture, a unique safe space for hip hop and R&B culture to be incubated and to be celebrated. We are looking forward to partnering with OMF, Revolt and When We All Vote and helping to raise awareness around the critical need for everyone to exercise their rights and vote in the upcoming election.”
