R Kelly is a free man once again, but it cost him some major cash.
The R&B singer was released from Cook County Jail Saturday after $161,000 dollar of back child support was paid on his behalf. Sources say the money came from a supporter and Chicago businessman.
Last month Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, involving four women, three of which were minors.
His attorney announced to the public that his finances were limited and that he couldn’t foot the bill so he spent the weekend in the slammer.
Since reports has surfaced over the years of Kelly’s involvement with underage girls he has denied any wrongdoing or any preference for young women.
Most recently he drew more attention after an explosive interview with CBS this Morning’s Gayle King, where the singer shocked the world by breaking down both in anger and rage screaming at the anchor.
