Many companies are using their platform to take a stand against non-inclusive practices minorities face in the fashion industry. Ralph Lauren is doing their part to break down these barriers. Ralph Lauren is launching a new Polo Pride collection for adults, children, and even pets, in support of inclusive diversity.
“Pride is another way for us to prove that love transcends all borders, and that by standing together with the LGBTQIA+ community, the Black community and their allies, we can send a message of solidarity to the world,” said Lauren in a statement this week.
The collection features the iconic Polo pony with a multicolored rainbow shade on all of their classic designs. Now people can rock new polo shirts, graphic tees, tank tops, sweatshirts. sweaters, fanny packs, baseball caps, socks and even a shirt for dogs.
Polo will be using this collection in order to promote positive inclusivity across the board. They have partnered with the Stonewall Community Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to uplifting and supporting communities of color, transgender, and non gender conforming groups and more.
With this partnership, 100 percent of the proceeds from the shirts in the collection will be donated to the Stonewall Community Foundation, while 25 percent of all of the other items of the collection will also be donated.
