Remy and Papoose are experiencing all the joys of parenthood, including reflecting on one another’s parenting styles. Remy recently suggested her husband about getting in some daddy-daughter time with their baby girl Reminisce MacKenzie Mackie. In the video, papa Pap is in the kitchen with baby Reminisce. She sits on the floor and the two of them engage in a sort of call and response game. He makes a loud noise then pauses before she imitates her father. They go back and forth until finally the toddler lets out a longer, more deliberate squeal than his. She wins. The couple laugh at their daughters determined response. In a second video, a curious Reminisce in shown rolling toilet paper off the roll in the bathroom. When Papoose calls her to get her attention, she replies, “what?” The same video was posted on Paps page and he added the caption “My little Snook is the boss around here. She does whatever she wants.”
Remi posted under the caption on IG: “I was FINALLY ready to admit that #TheGoldenChild is bad 😏…BUT…in her defense it’s her father’s fault.” @PappoosePappoose totally encourages and doesn’t stop @ReminisceMacKenzieMackie when she’s acting out. Therefore, technically my baby is good—HER FATHER just brings out her bad side. Fans took to the comment section with heart eye emojis. @iamjuju wrote, “Exactly, she’s not Bad! She’s very smart and very active!! ❤️❤️😩”.
Their baby girl was born December 14th, 2018 and is the youngest child in their family. The #BlackLove couple endured a public journey of ups and downs on their road to conception. Naturally, when the good news came about this pregnancy, the couple was thrilled and hence she was given the name of “The Golden Child”.
When asked on The Real how their lives have changed since the birth of their daughter, Remy replied, “She makes everything so peaceful, like we don’t wanna disagree on anything…everything’s so calm.” Baby Mackenzie as she is sometimes called, celebrated her first birthday just a few weeks ago and both parents have successful music careers with busy schedules.
On the latest episode of ‘Love and Hip-Hop New York’, Season 10, Papoose offered to keep their daughter while Remy recorded her next project in Miami, Florida. Due to his own obligations, he would be unable to go with his wife to help her out. Remi laughed at the idea saying, “She will eat you alive!” Papoose asked her, “How are you going to focus on your music if you’ve got the baby?” She quickly responded, “How are YOU going to focus on YOUR music if you’ve got the baby?” Despite their everyday demands, the couple manages to make life as parents to a newborn all work out.
