On Friday May 21st, rapper Future’s non-profit FreeWishes Foundation hosted the Wellness on Wheels Cookout in Atlanta. The FreeWishes Foundation aims to support the youth and senior citizens in and around the metro Atlanta area. According to their website, Nayvadius Wilburn, aka Grammy Award winning rapper Future, co-founded the FreeWishesFoundation with his mother Stephanie Jester and sister Tia Wilburn-Anderson to make an impact on lives young and old within the metro Atlanta area by making their dreams come true.

The outdoor private event was held at Silver Tree Senior Loving in partnership with Christian organization, PawKids. There were multiple vendors that catered to the needs of the elderly. Some vendors included Well Care, Claudia’s House, Caption Call and more. As guests walked around to grab free food and indulge in line dance class, music was provided by Dj Bluue. Overall, the focus was on wellness and fun!

“A lot has been going on in the world and in our communities. After speaking with a few of the senior adults they are feeling a little scared and somewhat isolated. I don’t want COVID-19 to stop our foundation’s commitment to their health and wellness. Through it all…Life is good,” Future said in a statement.
