Red Bull announces a first-ever symphonic event in the United States and it’s coming to Atlanta! The Red Bull Symphonic will feature the BET Award-winning artist Rick Ross and all-Black symphony Orchestra Noir. This event will honor and celebrate the culture and roots of Black music in America.
This once-in-a-lifetime performance will pair a full-scale orchestra with the influences of hip-hop culture. Taking place in Atlanta, a musical capital, the Red Bull Symphonic event will merge classical music with Rick Ross’s collection of hits. “From The Biggest Boss I’m going to make sure I give y’all an unforgettable and one-night-only performance,” said Rick Ross. “Red Bull Symphonic is helping us celebrate heritage, musicians, and more importantly Black excellence. We gonna innovate big that night.”
During intermission, a performance featuring trap choir SAINTED will bring together the influences of the Southern Black church and other genres including hip hop, gospel, trap, and funk. Mapy, an award-winning “Violin Queen” who wowed the crowd at the 2021 Grammy Awards, mixes the sounds of a violin with Afrobeats and hip hop. Black talent from historically Black colleges and universities in the South will also take the stage to showcase their talent and celebrate music.
This unforgettable performance will take place at the Atlanta Symphony Hall on November 4th. Red Bull has a history of many events that support local and renowned artists from festivals to workshops in Atlanta. The Red Bull Symphonic is another that will bring together the worlds of classical music and modern hip hop. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit redbull.com/symphonic.
