Rihanna Is Working On a Cookbook with Caribbean Recipes

It seems that being in quarantine has helped many of us adopt new skills and new ways to occupy our down time, even some of the busiest people. One star in particular has cooked up a new skill and plans to make something out of it!

GRAMMY-award winning artist, Rihanna shared with Closer that the being of the lock down due to COVID-19 has made her more in tune with her thoughts and also formed the connection between her and the kitchen. “At first it was strange because I am not used to being still—but during quarantine, you have no choice but to be still,” she says “Then you start to realize during lock down, you are stuck there with your own thoughts and your imagination and it really helped my creativity blossom.”

With that being said, the 32 year old revealed that her less than busy schedule allowed her to curate a cookbook filled with her favorite Caribbean recipes. “I love what I do, but I am always busy and quarantine gave me the time to do things I wouldn’t always have been able to do – watch an entire box set in a day, cook, go for walk,” she continues. “It’s important we do little things we enjoy and are kind to ourselves.”

The Barbados native also spoke about her love for “fresh fish,” along with foods and drinks like “mac ’n’ cheese, Shepherd’s pie and rum punch,”

There’s no word of a release date yet, but we’re sure to see those favorites included!
