Anna Delvey Sorokin is a fraudster and coming-artist convicted of multiple counts of attempted grand larceny and scamming in New York. This series will turn heads as Anna Delvey was a high profile case during the time of its trial. The series is set to have 10 episodes and explain her life leading up to her 15 year sentencing. Anna Chlumsky, Julia Garner and Laverne Cox will be starring in the film as the main protagonists in the series. Shonda Rhimes was inspired by the New York Magazine article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” by Jessica Pressler.
The show will follow this journalist as she investigates the case. Shondaland overall deal with Netflix is sure to bring in new television shows that will appeal to the new generation of watchers.
