After a good 5 seasons, Steve Harvey has announced that his beloved talk show Steve will be coming to an end in June. Chicago Tribune stated that the family feud host taped its final episode on Thursday. The show will air throughout June, and reruns will still play throughout September. Chicago Tribune elaborated that IMG used the past few months to look for new stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and other markets to keep the famous talk show on air.

Steve Harvey’s wife Majorie Harvey took to social media to post her support for Steve as he filmed his second to last show.

The ending of the talk show raises the question if Steve’s show was a causality due to the animosity that was built between NBCUniversal and Endeavor’s IMG original content over IMG’s takeover of Steve two seasons ago, Chicago Tribune states. It has been said that Kelly Clarkson is set to replace Steve’s daytime talk show slot after 7 years.

Although the family feud host’s show has come to an end for now, Steve’s presence will still remain on TV. He will still host numerous specials such as “Miss Universe Pageant” & “New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square”, according to Chicago Tribune.
