Singer and reality star, Tamar Braxton is slowly but surely making her way back into her music career after a difficult time in her life.

About two months ago, reports emerged that the singer had been hospitalized after being found unresponsive in her Los Angeles hotel room. Braxton later confirmed that she attempted suicide while struggling with her mental health and suffering “pain” for the past decade in the entertainment industry.

Braxton wrote a post about changing her unhealthy habits after being given a “second chance” at life.

“God thank you for saving me! You know my true heart,” she wrote. “Despite what the world may think of me, you kept me here for a reason. You are a God of second chances, and this second chance I won’t take for granted. The world can often be a dark place but I must resort to you for my light.”

In a recent Instagram post, smiling Tamar shows that she is ready for full recovery mode and has decided to make the decision to use her music as a platform to help heal her pain. “I’m ready to pour some pain into my music…” she says.
