Taraji P. Henson just announced her new business venture to the world. She has a new natural hair care line called TPH by Taraji; hair care for the culture. According to an interview with Vibe magazine, Taraji stated “I realized a lot of women were putting weaves in their, hair totally neglecting their hair,” she said. “And I know the weave is fabulous, but you have to take care of that hair underneath. And that’s what TPH by Taraji will give you: the most amazing, refreshing experience. This line is perfect for taking care of your natural hair.” This hair care line was created to embrace the culture of natural hair and change the narrative on hair beauty.
The actress went to Instagram to post a promotional video about the products that is to be released January 29th. She says, “We are all hair chameleons! Whether your hair is in weaves, wigs, braids, or its natural state, #TPHByTaraji was created by @tarajiphenson to help you redefine how you care for your scalp and hair. #ServeAndPreserve

Taraji continues to tease us with snippets of her using the products and showing us the finished results on her own hair. Having a collaboration like this is major and especially with the convince of having them on Target shelves. The products are truly to Taraji and will be easy for the public to obtain.
The line includes moisturizers, scalp cleansing, hair repair and cleansing products all labeled in different colors for easy pickup. Taraji wants to promote heath and wellness in all aspects of the human body and hair care is a major department that a lot of women deal with. #ServeandPreserve will be the new motto of 2020!
