Teyana Taylor shares a look into her upcoming Red Bull documentary titled, Assembly Required: Teyana Taylor’s House of Petunia. The film gives fans a peek into the creative process bringing the show together, while balancing her life as a mother and wife. During the trailer, the 29-year-old Harlem native grants us a glimpse of how closely involved she is with every detail of a show.
Memorable tracks on this release from her album in 2018 include “Rose In Harlem,” “Issues/Hold On” and the introduction song “No Manners.” She also revealed a new single “We Got Love” which has an artwork of holding her daughter, Junie.
“I want to see that of myself…I don’t care about anyone else’s opinion,” she can be heard telling her team in one of the standout moments of the trailer. We also get to see a brief clip where Taylor can be seen walking through the New York City subway dressed in full glam. “It’s all my visions being brought to life,” Taylor shares about House of Petunia in the trailer. “It feels really good to have the opportunity to have my own dream show.”
The documentary is set to be released on Red Bull TV on February 20, 2020.
