Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne recently did a behind the scenes interview with Jamila Mustafa. The ladies new film ‘Like a Boss’ will be released soon, and they gave an inside scoop of the movie. The film focuses on a storyline of two best friends, Mia (Tiffany Haddish) & Mel (Rose Byrne), who build a successful beauty company from the ground up.
Mustafa began the interview with the question, “What do you guys think about the phrase, don’t mix friendship with business in real life?” Both ladies felt like it was okay it was okay to mix friendship with business, stating “I think it could apply to some friendships and businesses but it’s also a lot of acceptations… I don’t think there’s any cardinal rule.” Byrne expressed with Haddish ended it by saying,“…It’s like who is that friend? Are they responsible?”
The ladies went on to discuss fun topics with Mustafa, like describing what they wanted in a best friend, showing the audience short clips of the soon to be released film, and Mustafa spoke to Jessica St. Claire, who plays Kim in the movie. Byrne also went indept about the plot of the film as well, stating that it follows two best friends who are in their late 30s who’s single and have a business together, “and it’s about that thing that you said, it’s topical, can you mix friends and business”
‘Like A Boss’ will be in theaters January 10 2020.
