For Tiffany Haddish, “Like A Boss” isn’t just a movie title. The actress has had an amazing rise to stardom in the last few years. Her breakout role in the 2017 blockbuster hit “Girls Trip” proved that she has what it takes to be one of Hollywood’s top female comedians. Recently, she shared her dreams of being a boss in the film industry as a part of her future plans.
“I’m interested in owning a studio. I’m interested in owning all the cameras. I’m interested in owning the production company that’s going to hire the female director that’s going to allow them to create and tell a beautiful story.” states Haddish. Tiffany was raised in South Central, Los Angeles and did not grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She has joked about the time she drove Will Smith and his wife Jada around in a $20 rental to use a Groupon voucher for a swamp tour. She was once asked what’s different about her life now to which she replied that although she doesn’t get as much sleep, “Im living my dream. I’m sleep walking.”
In her new film “Like a Boss”, Haddish plays a co-owner of a struggling beauty business she created with her bestie. Their friendship is tested when a buyout offer is made by a rival cosmetics company.
Much like the title indicates, Tiffany clearly has intentions of making major moves behind the camera in this current decade. It’s clear to see that these ladies want to make big boss moves. The film “Like A Bods” premieres in theaters this Friday.
