The Toronto native, Tory Lanez, has made a name for himself through his consistent hard work, putting out several mixtapes such as his latest “Chixtape” series that has been one of his most anticipated projects. Yet, there has been circulates around Drake and Tory Lanez beef. Years ago, the two Toronto artists started having issues, when fans began to believe that a lyric from Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” was directed towards Lanez during the time he was an upcoming artist; being compared to Drake. After multiple disses, radio interviews, and even challenges, these two have finally resolved their issues after seven years.
Fans are looking forward to seeing a collaboration from the two Canadian artists. As for others may have been a little puzzled about the two being all “buddy-buddy” now.
“He’s a very calculated guy, very organized. Everything that he does is very calculated. I think that stature of organization is just incredible. It’s a very good manuscript to look back on and learn from.” Lanez said as he shares what he has learned from working with Drake. The greatest moment he has had with Drake was touring in London for six nights show, at the same place selling out 30,000.
