Tyler Perry has definitely been the talk of households! From opening one of the largest film production studios (not to mention being the first African-American to own a major film production studio), creating the streaming app BET plus, and having two successful shows premiere on BET (The Oval & Sistas), Tyler Perry is bringing his creativity over to Netflix.
Netflix and chill watchers get ready, Perry will be producing a thriller called A Fall From Grace. Recently tweeting a poster of the film, captioning it “My next movie guys!!! This is an amazing thriller!!”
The cast of this upcoming thriller includes Phylicia Rashad (seen on For Colored Girls) , Cicely Tyson (seen in the Diary of a Mad Black Woman & Madea’s Family Reunion), Crystal Fox (seen in The Have and Have Nots), and Bresha Webb (seen in Acrimony). According to Deadline, Netflix Strong Black Lead account tweeted that the film will be “centered around a divorced woman who feels restored by a new romance, secrets soon to erode her short-lived joy.”
That is not the only project Perry is currently working on. Deadline also stated that the producer will be working with Nickelodeon, creating a new kids and family live-action series starring 10 year old rapper, Dylan.
