Champion freedom fighter and Hip-Hop icon Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell announces the launch of Luke Sports Management, a company dedicated to mentoring and representing college and professional athletes and coaches. The management company was launched in particular to provide an equal playing field for Black athletes and coaches who lack proper representation.

“So many of these athletes, especially those of color, are being overlooked or taken advantage of,” expressed Campbell. “I feel a need to serve the underserved. Our job is to push the envelope and give them a sense of comfort while providing avenues that can take them to the next level.”

Campbell has helped develop pro athletes from the start of their introduction to football including the likes of Devontae FreemanDuke JohnsonWillis McGee and Chad Johnson. This has been through his own Liberty City Optimist program and his work as a high school coach.

Campbell continues, “My experience in sports as a high school player, advocate and coach to players such as Vosean Joseph, Carlton DavisDeandre Baker, and Emmett Rice, tied to my life-long career in the entertainment business will offer never-done-before opportunities to our clients. What sets us apart is that we are offering ground-breaking representation to coaches as well.”

College sports are changing drastically, with Florida being the first state to approve college athletes to be paid for their name and likeness. Campbell has dedicated the next step in his career to fighting for the underrepresented and serving as a voice for the people who often go unheard.
