The news has broke that airlines like United Airlines, Delta, American Airlines and Singapore Airlines have cameras installed in the newer seat-back entertainment systems, according to HuffPost.
The spokesperson from American Airlines announced on Friday that although they have cameras in their planes, the cameras have never been activated. They are simply there for future options that will later be installed like seat to seat video conferencing and more.
