Octavia Butler’s 1980 novel ‘Wild Seed’ will be turned into a science fiction series!, all thanks to well known Academy Award winning actress Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon. The couple has their own Production company ‘JuVee’ and is partnering with Amazon to produce this show.
Mrs. Butler’s novel is part of her Patternist Series and it is the fourth book.According to Essence Magazine “The book tells the story of two African immortals, one a killer and one a healer, who travel through time and change the course of our world as their personal battle takes its toll on the world.”
Deadline magazine reports that “Octavia Butler’s estate has given the project it’s blessing.
