Talk Show Host Wendy Williams is known for her over-the-top personality and getting down to the nitty-gritty to deliver the best celebrity gossip!
Well, the talk show host now has the opportunity to deliver her personal story. Lifetime will premiere a two-hour biopic highlighting Williams’ journey through the entertainment industry and her battles behind the scenes.
According to BET, “The film will detail Williams’ ups and downs – from her start in urban radio to her highly successful syndicated talk show. It will also take a look into her private persona, discussing the joy and humiliation she’s experienced throughout her life.”
The Oval, star Ciera Payton will portray Wendy, and P-Valley’s Morocco Omari has been cast to depict her ex-husband Kevin Hunter. On her talk show, Williams’ herself praised Ciera’s performance, “She looks and acts so much like me, like, she got it,”
