Rapper Young Thug has made a name for himself not only in the music industry but also in the fashion world. He keeps fans on there toes by always stepping out in the latest fashion and designers. His distinctive style has lead him to work with some of the best creators in the game. When it was announced that Thug would be the face of the Giuseppe Zanotti low top sneaker, it was no surprise. The campaign features imagery of Thug marketing the 3D cobra snaking sneaker in eccentric ways.

First premiering at last September’s Milan Fashion Week, the sneaker highlights one of the wilds most dangerous snakes in pink, red, black and white colorways. Campaign images were taken by photographer Cam Kirk and features the Atlanta-based rapper posting with the different colorways of the sneaker with matching outfits and backdrops. “For me, Giuseppe is like a chameleon,” Thug said. “He’s got the Italian style thing down but knows how to change it up and layer in the unexpected, the street. It’s fire.”

The brand also shares the same love for Thug as Zanotti states he “defies classification and stereotypes.” The designer continues to give him props by saying, “He has always embraced the eccentric, the unapologetic — not only with his music but also with his fashion. He perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the Cobras.”

The sneakers will make their debut today in the U.S. at select Giuseppe Zanotti flagship stores, key retailers and they will be globally available at the brand’s e-shop.
